Physicians and other providers will be able to use their preferred charting style to capture data in a single screen note and use Bright Note to synchronize searchable data across a complete chart. The approach gives physicians quick access to vital patient information, allowing them to focus more attention on patient interaction, according to the release. Physicians can choose from a variety of input methods including speech recognition, templates, keyboard entry and transcription.
Bright Note Technology will be available in McKesson’s physician practice EHR solutions including Practice Partner, Lytec MD and Medisoft Clinical, according to the release.
