Mayo Clinic Offers Young Athletes a Sports Injury Clinic

Mayo Clinic sports medicine center in Rochester, Minn., will provide a Saturday morning sports injury clinic for middle school and high school athletes, according to a clinic news release.

The clinic will be open on Saturday mornings through mid-October. A physician, physical therapist and athletic trainer will be available at the clinic. Athletes injured at their Friday night or Saturday morning games can receive x-rays, splinting, bracing, crutch instruction and rehabilitation exercises. The clinic treats walk-in patients but gives priority to patients with appointments.
