Mayo Clinic in Phoenix is using telemedicine to evaluate patients with concussions in rural Arizona, according to a Mayo Clinic news release.

The pilot program allows physicians to conduct live audio-video evaluations of patients with concussions. Mayo Clinic’s teleconcussion evaluation is believed to be among the first in the state to use telemedicine for concussions.
