Maury Regional Medical Center Approved to Build Ambulatory Surgery Center

Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia, Tenn., recently received approval from the Tennessee Health Services and Development Agency to build an ASC at its new Spring Hill facility, according to a Tennessean report.

The surgery center will complement the services already planned for the $7.9 million, 62,365-square-foot facility being built near Port Royal Road and Reserve Boulevard. The Spring Hill facility is expected to be complete by October.

The surgery center will include services in gynecology, ophthalmology, urology and ENT. The new facility is expected to bring more physicians to the area.
