Marc W. Hungerford, MD, has joined Mercy Medical Center in Baltimore, Md., as the medical director of joint replacement and reconstruction, according to a Mercy news release.
Prior to coming to Mercy, Dr. Hungerford served as the chair of the Johns Hopkins division of orthopedic surgery at Good Samaritan Hospital in Baltimore.
Dr. Hungerford specializes in hip, knee and shoulder arthroscopy; pelvic osteotomy; joint replacement; minimally invasive joint replacement; joint replacement revision; and treatment of avascular necrosis, according to the release.
