Marshall University in West Virginia Approves Negotiations for Sports Facility With Research Center

The board of governors at Marshall University in Huntington, W. Va., voted to begin negotiating with an architectural firm for a new sports facility, including a sports medicine research center, according to a West Virginia Public Broadcasting news report.

The athletic complex will house an indoor track, practice facility, student athlete academic support and the sports medicine research center. The architectural firm has been selected, but both sides are still negotiating the logistics of the agreement.
