Mark Hartman, MD (Novant Health Total Spine Specialists, Huntersville, N.C.). Dr. Hartman is a founding physician at Novant Health Total Spine Specialists. He has a special interest in microscopic, microendoscopic and minimally invasive procedures. He also treats spinal tumors, trauma and reconstructive surgery patients.

 

Board-certified by the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, Dr. Hartman was a practicing spine surgeon for more than 10 years before founding Total Spine Specialists. He is a member of the Cervical Spine Research Society and North American Spine Society.

 

Dr. Hartman earned his medical degree from Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, N.C., and completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at Carolinas Medical Center. His additional training includes a fellowship at the University of South Florida.
