Maine Orthopedics Practice Offers New Walk-in Sports Clinic

OA Centers for Orthopaedics, a 23-physician practice in Portland and Saco, Maine, has established new walk-in sports injury clinics at both locations, according to Maine Business.

The practice said the Saturday clinics are preferable for treating sports-related bruises and fractures to visiting an ER, with its the high costs, potentially long waits and likely referral to an orthopedist for further treatment and observation.
