Norton Healthcare, which runs five hospitals and employs 300 healthcare providers, added that it plans to expand the spine center’s clinical, research and education programs and bring more orthopedic spine surgeons to Louisville.
The Courier-Journal reported that when Norton hired all of the University of Louisville’s neurosurgeons earlier this year, the university removed them from the faculty, but the spine surgeons will stay on the university faculty.
