Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim Signs Agreement With Orthopaedic Specialty Institute

The Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim announced a multiyear agreement with Orthopaedic Specialty Institute in Orange, Calif., and announced the additions of Robert Grumet, MD, and Michael Shepard, MD, to their medical staff, according to an MLB.com report.

The Angels team previously partnered with the Kerlan-Jobe Orthopaedic Clinic in Los Angeles, which will continue to be a resource for the team.

 

Dr. Grumet focuses on arthroscopic and reconstructive surgery of the shoulder, knee and hip with a special focus on cartilage restorative procedures and hip arthroscopy.

 

Dr. Shepard focuses on elbow and shoulder injuries for overhead athletes, elbow arthroscopy and complex knee reconstruction, according to the report.
