Local Coaches to Take University of Michigan’s NeuroSport Curriculum

Local high school coaches and officials will now take the University of Michigan Health System‘s NeuroSport education as part of required concussion learning.

The Michigan NeuroSport education component illustrates the serious nature of concussions, recognition of the signs and symptoms and a review of return to play protocols.

In addition to the coaches’ modules, the University of Michigan launched a parents’ edition to improve recognition and understanding of concussions.
