LDR’s new VerteBridge plating technology for spine surgery has been implanted 2,500 times in the United States since its introduction 18 months ago, according to a release from LDR.
VerteBridge is part of LDR’s ROI-A ALIF cage, launched in June of 2008, and its ROI-C cervical cage, launched in March 2009.
With its self-guided, curved plating, delivered in the plane of the disc through a direct anterior approach, LDR said VerteBridge requires less exposure than standalone systems secured with screws that must be inserted at oblique angles.
