Larry D. Cordell, MD (University of Kansas Hospital, Kansas City). Dr. Cordell is a spine surgeon at the Marc A. Asher MD Comprehensive Spine Center at the University of Kansas Hospital. He treats patients with herniated discs, work-related injuries, scoliosis, spine trauma, spinal tumors and pinched nerves, among other conditions.

 

Dr. Cordell is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and a member of the North American Spine Society. He served in the United States Navy and Army, and was president of the Kansas Orthopaedic Society in 1996.

 

Dr. Cordell earned his medical degree at the University of Kansas and completed his residency at the University of Navarra Medical School and Alfred I Dupont Institute. He completed a fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston.
