Kimberly-Clark Buys Pain Management Division of Medical Device Company

Kimberly-Clark Corp. has purchased the pain management division of Baylis Medical, a Canadian medical device manufacturer, according to a report by the Dallas Business Journal.

Kimberly-Clark has served as the U.S. distributor of Baylis’s pain management products since 2001.

The terms of the deal were not disclosed, but Kimberly Clark said in the report that the acquisition fit within the company’s strategy to invest in the medical device market.
