Institute for Sports Sciences to Partner With Cedars-Sinai

The Institute for Sports Sciences — recently established by the Kerlan-Jobe Orthopaedic Clinic in Los Angeles and the Santa Monica (Calif.) Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Group — has entered into a Letter of Intent with Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, providing a vehicle for collaboration among the three entities.

The Institute for Sports Sciences intends to partner with Cedars-Sinai to jointly pursue strategies for leadership in orthopedics and sports medicine. The institute also aims at providing advanced training and fellowship programs as well as innovative scientific research to develop future treatments for orthopedic injuries.
