Kentucky Pain Society to Host Opioid Prescribing Conference

Kentucky Society of Interventional Pain Physicians plans to host a conference titled “Evolution of Responsible Opioid Prescribing: Good, Bad and Ugly” on Aug. 18 and 19, according to a report from the American Society for Interventional Pain Physicians.

Deputy Assistant Administrator in the Office of Diversion Control, Drug Enforcement Agency Joseph T. Rannazzisi will be the key not speaker. Speakers will focus on KASPER, Pill Mill law, pain management facilities, controlled substance guidance, adherence monitoring and documentation, according to the report.
