Kentucky-Ohio Pilot to Use E-Prescriptions to Prevent Prescription Drug Abuse

Kentucky is beginning a pilot project with Ohio to prevent prescription drug abuse by sharing electronic prescribing data, according to a Courier-Journal report.

The pilot is one of two programs Kentucky is launching to curb interstate drug sales to abusers.
