- Augustus Mazzocca, MD, was appointed as the first medical director of sports medicine at Boston-based Mass General Brigham. He will also serve as the director of the bioskills, biomechanics and cell biology laboratories within the orthopedic surgery department at Boston-based Massachusetts General Hospital.
- Brandon Byrd, MD, joined National Park Medical Center in Hot Springs, Ark.
- Dennis Cardone, DO, and John Kennedy, MD, joined NYU Langone Medical Associates in West Palm Beach, Fla., to provide sports medicine and orthopedic surgery services.
- Katherine Coyner, MD, an orthopedic surgeon and professor at Farmington, Conn.-based UConn Health, was named as a fellow for the Hedwig van Ameringen Executive Leadership in Academic Medicine program for women.
