This individual will report to and collaborate with the executive director. Responsibilities include leading, managing and administering all administrative and clinical matters of the ASC. A competitive base salary, annual bonus plan, benefits and 401k package is offered with this position.
This individual will:
• Have responsibilities in daily clinical staffing and flow of patients, including the management schedule;
• Focus on quality of care and patient satisfaction;
• Recruit, hire, evaluate and supervise clinical personnel including physicians assistants and nurses;
• Ensure efficient clinical operations and fiscal operational accountability, including annual budgets, and manage certification and accreditation;
• Serve as the HIPAA/Safety and Infection Control Officer;
• Monitor all procedures and OR/clinical materials management;
• Potentially have responsibilities for the provision of direct patient care consistent with licensure, experience and current competence in the level of patient care provided.
Qualifications for this position include:
• Valid NYS RN License (required)
• Five years of operational healthcare management experience (required)
• Bachelor’s Degree (required)
• Master’s Degree (preferred)
• Budgeting, financial management, clinical service management and materials management experience (required)
• Experience in outpatient surgery center operations (strongly preferred)
• Proven leadership skills and strong focus on patient satisfaction
• Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite (required)
