James Yue, MD (Yale Medical Group, New Haven, Conn.). Dr. Yue is the co-director of the orthopedic spine service at Yale and the Yale Spine Fellowship Director. He also serves as an associate professor of orthopedics and rehabilitation. He has a special interest in endoscopic minimally invasive spine surgery, lumbar and cervical artificial disc replacement, and surgeries for the aging spine.
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Yue focuses on clincial and basic science research. He was part of the ProDisc lumbar and cervical FDA clinical trials. He also worked on the X-Stop post-FDA approval trail and Activ-L lumbar disc replacement FDA clinical trial. He has published numerous articles and book chpaters based on his research in professional journals and was chief editor for two spine surgery textbooks.
Dr. Yue earned his undergraduate degree at Harvard College and medical degree at Northwestern University Medical School.
