The hospital signed an agreement to take ownership of Jacksonville Orthopaedic Institute, a 32-physician medical group, for an undisclosed sum. Under the agreement, all JOI jobs and benefits will be preserved, and the seven physician practices and nine rehabilitation centers will retain the JOI identity.
