An orthopedic center is part of a multimillion-dollar development that the Jacksonville Jaguars are planning for downtown Jacksonville, Fla., JaxDailyRecord.com reports.
Three notes:
1. The NFL franchise announced the first phase of the development June 3, which will include a city-owned football performance center, marina and 176-room Four Seasons Hotel at an estimated cost of $441 million, according to the report.
2. The second phase will include a 42,000-square-foot orthopedic sports medicine campus in partnership with Jacksonville-based Baptist Health.
3. A total cost for the second phase was not provided.
Amherst, N.Y.-based Excelsior Orthopaedics suffered a data breach affecting about 357,000 people.
The FDA issued several spine and orthopedic devices and technologies in November.
Laura Luick, MD, recently joined Integris Health Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma City to provide foot and ankle surgery.
