Jack Zigler, MD (Texas Back Institute, Plano). Dr. Ziegler is a spine surgeon at Texas Back Institute. He has served on the editorial board for the Journal of Spinal Disorders and Techniques and as president of the American Spinal Cord Injury Association.
Dr. Zigler also served in leadership positions for the Cervical Spine Research Society and American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. He was on the Council of Spine Societies executive committee and president of the Federation of Spine Associations. Dr. Zigler was also the spinal injury consultant for the Los Angeles Olympic Committee.
Dr. Zigler earned his medical degree at SUNY Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse, N.Y., and completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City. His additional training includes the Arnold Fellow in Spine Surgery at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland.
