VectorVision flex integrates advanced tracking software to enable surgeons to perform highly precise orthopedic procedures and is equipped with Digital Lightbox, an interactive multi-touch viewing platform. Combined with TraumaCad, Digital Lightbox extends the benefits of digital templating to the OR, allowing surgeons to more precisely predict intra-operative needs and challenges and update surgical plans during the procedure, according to the release.
The system also displays 3-D representations of the patient’s anatomy, which allows surgeons to visualize and track instrument positioning relative to intra-operative data for more precise and less-invasive surgery. Digital Lightbox offers data enrichment features that allow physicians to customize surgical plans to better leverage information for more informed decision-making, according to the release. TraumaCad enables surgeons to digitally plan their surgeries from any location, with seamless access to all necessary X-rays and advanced planning resources.
