Indians’ Matt LaPorta Undergoes Hip Surgery by Dr. Thomas Byrd

Thomas Byrd, MD, of Nashville Sports Medicine & Orthopaedic Center, performed hip debridement surgery on Cleveland Indians first baseman Matt LaPorta, according to a Waiting For Next Year report.

Mr. LaPorta is expected to return to play in three to four months.
