Dr. Henderson is board certified in sports medicine and family medicine and is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine and the American College of Sports Medicine.
According to the release, Dr. Henderson received his medical degree from Charles R. Drew/UCLA Medical School in Los Angeles and completed an internship and a residency at the University of California San Francisco/Valley Medical Center in Fresno, Calif. He completed a fellowship in sports medicine with St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Dayton, Ohio, and one in faculty development with St. Margaret Memorial Hospital in Pittsburgh. Dr. Henderson holds a Masters of Public Health from the University of Pittsburgh.
