Hudson Regional Hospital changes ownership, installs Mazor robotic system: 5 insights

Amid ownership changes, Hudson Regional Hospital in Secaucus, N.J., acquired Mazor Robotics’ Renaissance Surgical Guidance System, according to the Jewish Link of New Jersey.

1. HRH plans to use the robotic system for its spine surgery program. The hospital is the only one in the region to offer the Renaissance system.

2. Mazor Robotics’ system has shown to cut complication rates in half, increase accuracy to 99 percent and reduce patient stays by 25 percent.

3. The hospital also selected Yan Moshe as its owner. Under new ownership, HRH is looking to improve patient experience and establish itself as a leader.

4. HRH hopes to modernize its interior and exterior to create environments that promote health and wellness.

5. HRH is also making strides within the community. The hospital established an advisory board to work with community leaders and is looking to expand its network of providers.
