Here are four highlights.
1. The new floor is located on the sixth level and features 16 private rooms with barn door-type bathrooms for easy access.
2. Compared to the older rooms, these remodeled suites have more room and improved maneuverability for patients while recovering.
3. Saint Vincent also unveiled a one-of-a-kind simulator vehicle from Bonnell’s Collision, which will be used to help patients practice entering and exiting post-surgery.
4. According to Saint Vincent Hospital President, Scott Whalen, PhD, this updated unit and the various rooms can now fully accommodate state-of-the-art technology and the demands of 21st century equipment.
