Here are five notes:
1. The Jameson Crane Sports Medicine Institute will be 116,000 square feet.
2. The facility will have more than 15 different specialty programs, several surgical suites, four research and performance labs and 160 sports medicine faculty and staff.
3. Construction began in October.
4. The project is set for completion in fall 2016.
5. The facility will also have labs, clinics, procedure rooms, a physical therapy center, MRI, X-rays and operating rooms.
