CCHIT’s new modular certification program, Preliminary ARRA 2011, is limited to the standards for qualifying EHR technology under the ARRA. Once HHS finalizes its definition of meaningful use, products certified by the program will qualify for ARRA funds. Hospitals and physicians that implement these technologies will be eligible to apply for $17 billion in healthcare IT funding designated by the ARRA.
Additionally, vendor applications are also available for CCHIT Certified 2011, an updated comprehensive EHR certification program.
