The 66,000-square-foot orthopedic and spine center will include four operating rooms and 24 private patient rooms, with additional space for future growth. The center, which will be located in a separate building adjacent to the hospital, will be owned by Harrison and operated by the 12 orthopedic surgeons participating in a professional limited liability corporation.
Construction on the facility is expected to last 14 months and the center is scheduled to open in June 2013.
