Four details:
1. The Harlem Globetrotters and their crew members will have access to the 14 physicians at Emory Orthopaedics & Spine Center’s Emory Sports Medicine Center division. Both are in Atlanta.
2. The partnership also gives the Globetrotters’ athletic training staff access to Emory’s full medical services network for physicals, baseline concussion testing evaluations and more.
3. The Globetrotters will utilize Emory’s sports medicine complex in Brookhaven, Ga. Emory built the training and sports medicine facility in partnership with the Atlanta Hawks.
4. Emory Sports Medicine physicians have treated athletes on several Atlanta teams, including the Falcons and Braves.
