Hanger Orthopedic Group Expands Operations With Three Acquisitions

Hanger Orthopedic Group, an orthotic and prosthetic device maker based in Bethesda, Md., has expanded its operations with the $10.7 million acquisition of Creative Orthotics & Prosthetics, Custom Orthopedics of Wyoming and specific orthotic assets from the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, according to a report by the Washington Business Journal.

Hanger Orthopedic owns and operates more than 600 patient care centers around the country that fit and customize orthotic devices and prosthetic limbs.
