She is the only orthopedic surgeon with her subspecialty outside of Oahu. She will treat patients with common fractures and musculoskeletal injuries involving soft tissue or bone as well as more complex injuries such as microsurgical nerve and vessel repair.
Dr. Payne previously practiced with Duke University Medical Center, where she completed her residency in orthopedic surgery and her fellowship training in hand and microvascular surgery. She is a certified physical therapist and earned her master’s degree in physical therapy from Emory University in Atlanta.
