In 2012, the total shoulder replacement market across 10 countries — United States, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Japan, Brazil, China, India and the United Kingdom — was estimated at $526 million. But, due primarily to an increasing number of shoulder arthritis and fracture patients, the figure will rise.
As of 2013, the U.S. is estimated to comprise of 69.6 percent of the market share, according to the report.
