The Global Stem Cells Group will recognize Joseph Purita, MD, at its 3rd Annual International Symposium on Stem Cells and Regenerative Medicine in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in September.

1. Dr. Purita leads Global Stem Cells Group’s scientific advisory board.

 

2. A part of the Boca Raton (Fla.) Orthopaedic Group, Dr. Purita was on the front line of offering stem cell and platelet-rich plasma therapy for orthopedic conditions.

 

3. Dr. Purita treated New York Yankees pitcher Bartolo Colon’s injured shoulder with stem cells in 2012, and has since treated many professional athletes.
