GA’s Piedmont Newnan Hospital Hopes to Open New Surgery Center

Piedmont Newnan (Ga.) Hospital is awaiting state approval to open an ambulatory surgery center on its new campus in Newnan, according to a Times-Herald report.

The hospital plans to close the Piedmont Ambulatory Surgery Center located on the hospital’s former Newnan campus on April 20. The hospital is planning to then open a new Piedmont Ambulatory Surgery Center on its new Newnan campus on April 26, pending state approval.

 

State officials are expected to make a visit to the new campus on April 24-25.

 

Piedmont Newnan plans to officially open the new campus on May 8.
