Here’s what you need to know:
1. “The EOS system will allow us to further develop the clinical care of our pediatric patients through imaging at low radiation dose. It will also significantly accelerate our collaborative research programs with EOS on the orthopedic treatment of scoliosis with braces,” said Prof. Aurélien Courvoisier, a pediatric orthopedic surgeon.
2. Aside from being used in the hospital’s clinic, the University Hospital Center of Grenoble Alpes will also use its EOS system for clinical research activities.
3. With 2,100 beds, the University Hospital Center of Grenoble Alpes employs 1,700 physicians, and is recognized for using navigation and robotics in orthopedic surgery.
