Florida City Passes New Pain Clinic Regulations

A new ordinance in Winter Springs, Fla., places several new regulations on new pain management clinics opening within the city’s borders, according to a report from the Seminole Chronicle.

Regulations include:
•    Clinics cannot operate on a cash only basis
•    Medical professionals must have an affidavit showing they are authorized to prescribe medicine
•    Operating hours must be between 7 a.m. and 9 p.m.

The ordinance aims to determine whether the pain management clinic is legitimate or not.
