Flagler County’s moratorium on pain clinics will expire soon and the commission may approve an ordinance in its place that will strengthen the state statue. Like the Palm Coast ordinance, the county’s ordinance will require clinic operators to display licenses, require clinics to be at least 1,000 square feet, prohibit clinics from selling alcohol and hours of operation would be limited to 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday, according to the report.
Any clinic that currently exists will have to comply with the ordinance within a year.
