The first outpatient clinic in the Rochester, N.Y., area for hip and knee arthritis has opened, according to a report by the Rochester Democrat and Chronicle.
The clinic is run by the Department of Orthopaedics at the University of Rochester Medical Center and the Evarts Joint Center at Highland Hospital.
The clinic is intended for patients whose arthritis has advanced to the point where injections or surgery might be the next step.
