Federal Court Dismisses Whistleblower Lawsuit Against Millennium Laboratories

U.S. District Court Judge Joseph L. Tauro ordered the complete dismissal of the whistleblower suit against Millennium Laboratories brought by a former senior officer at Calloway Laboratories, according to a news release.

Millennium is responsible for doing lab work for pain clinics to ensure patients are taking prescribed medication. The suit was originally filed in federal court in Massachusetts in 2009 by Robert Cunningham, since deceased, and alleged that Millennium encourage physicians to bill Medicare for tests not performed and to bill lab work at a higher rate.
