A survey conducted by the American Academy of Family Physicians showed the four highest rated EHR systems, based on responses from 3,427 of its members, were mostly found in groups of one to five family physicians, the report said. Respondents answered EHR-focused statements addressing ease of ordering lab tests, whether meaningful use is achievable with their EHRs, how well the vendor trained and supported, among others.
The four EHR systems that were rated the best include Medent, Amazing Charts, e-MDs and Praxis.
