Evonik Venture Capital invested in Meditool, a Chinese 3D printing company creating implants for spine and neurosurgery, reports European Plastic Product Manufacturer.

1. Meditool’s 3D-printed technology aims to enhance recovery times and reduce postoperative checks on patients as well as surgical risks for surgeons.

2. The company’s software can read and process images directly from MRI or CT scan devices.

3. The software develops a 3D-printed implant with a PEEK polymer, supplied by Evonik.
