The hospital will renovate its skilled nursing unit and convert it into additional space for its orthopedic program. The unit will be upgraded to include 22 private patient rooms, a physical therapy rehabilitation area as well as space for pre-surgery orthopedic educational classes.
The state’s Department of Health have yet to review the plans, according to the report.
