Here are five things to know:

1. EOS imaging reported over $10 million in global sales, a large jump from the $7.8 million reported during the same quarter of 2016. The company sold 17 EOS systems during the quarter, which drove the overall sales increase. Last year during the same period, the company marketed 13 systems.

2. Europe sales experienced the largest margin, jumping 111 percent from $2.3 million in 2016 to $4.8 million. However, EOS imaging saw a 12 percent decline in sales in North America, reporting barely over $4 million in sales.

3. Over the past nine months, EOS imaging has collected $23.3 million in sales, a 20 percent increase year-over-year. The spike in sales is due to the company selling 51 systems in 2017, compared to 41 in the first nine months of 2016.

4. North American sales have slumped 21 percent over the first nine months to $10.8 million, while Europe’s sales have grown 58 percent in the same time period to $13.5 million. EOS imaging’s sales in North America are expected to trend positively as the company transitions leadership.

5. EOS imaging appointed Eric Maulavé to COO, effective Oct. 1, 2017. Mr. Maulavé will lead production, maintenance, engineering, clinical, quality and regulatory efforts.
