Drs. Neal ElAttrache, Steven Shimoyama perform elbow surgery on LA Clippers’ Blake Griffin

Neal ElAttrache, MD, performed elbow surgery on Los Angeles Clippers forward Blake Griffin, according to a CBS Sports report.

Clippers team physician Steven Shimoyama, MD, assisted in the procedure. Mr. Griffin underwent surgery for a staph infection in his elbow and will be out of play “indefinitely.” There are plans to re-evaluate Mr. Griffin’s condition after the All Star break.

 

Mr. Griffin has a history of bursitis in his right elbow.
