1. Mr. Embiid suffered the injury after colliding with his own teammate Markelle Fultz March 28.

2. He’ll begin the rehabilitation process after a five-to seven-day recovery period. The team has no timetable for his recovery. His eye will be examined, and a recovery timetable will be determined afterwards.

3. Dr. Bilyk is an orbital/oculoplastics surgeon at Philadelphia-based Wills Eye Hospital.

4. Dr. Krein is a plastic/reconstructive head and neck surgeon at Philadelphia-based Jefferson University Hospital.
