Drs. Evan Flatow, Alexis Colvin Contribute to AAOS Book

Evan Flatow, MD, and Alexis Colvin, MD, orthopedic surgeons at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York, contributed editorially to “Atlas of Essential Orthopaedic Procedures,” a book released by the American Association of Orthopaedic Surgeons.

Dr. Flatow and Dr. Colvin helped ensure that the book, which showcases more than 100 essential surgical procedures across all orthopedic specialties, is a comprehensive resource. The book includes detailed descriptions of the procedures and commentary from the authors.

Dr. Flatow is the Lasker Professor and Chair of the Leni and Peter W. May Department of Orthopedic Surgery, and Dr. Colvin, is a sports medicine specialist at the Icahn School.
