1. The team expects Mr. Chapman will begin baseball-related activities in six weeks.
2. Mr. Chapman experienced pain in his shoulder during an offseason workout. His right thumb was surgically repaired earlier in the 2018 offseason.
3. Dr. Workman performed a distal clavicle resection at Walnut Creek, Calif.-based Bass Surgical Center.
4. Dr. Workman is the Athletic’s team orthopedist. He has extensive sports medicine experience and was recognized for his arthroscopic approach to treating injuries.
